What It Was like to Be on Reality TV
After an intense week of filming in Montreal, I was back and straight into working on my businesses, facilitating an Instagram Course through my role with Grazia Academy, and handling the various interviews and media engagements that being on the show brought, so I am just catching up on some updates now:
It was an incredible week that exceeded my expectations. The Social Movement is due to be aired on Amazon Prime, Summer 2020, and we had 40 entrepreneurs, CEOs and investors come from all around the world. Naturally, in the lead up to the show, I was concerned about how we would all get along considering many of us must be big characters.
It was amazing how we all came together to solve the NUMBER ONE GLOBAL KILLER - Sudden Cardiac Arrest. SCA is DIFFERENT from a heart attack - it can affect anyone, including athletes. You don’t have to be overweight or old. And most of the deaths are PREVENTABLE with heart screening.
We had 3 days to come up with a business plan. We made screening compulsory for 13 and 18 year olds, created a big data platform, fitted them with wearable devices to measure their hearts, divided the city into grids and would send a defibrillator via a drone. The judges appreciated that it was enough of a moon-shot while also being completely realistic all of the tech is available today.
Thanks to La Voie Films for a fantastic opportunity and I look forward to seeing my team again!
